Masterchief meets Team Xtender's XCM Line

If any one character could represent all that is the world of Xbox, it would have to be Halo's Masterchief. If you want to sell a product to a bunch of Xbox fanboys (or fangirls) the easiest way is to drop an image of Masterchief onto it. Team Xtender has done just that, or as close as they can get without needing a license from Bungie. This appears to be an artists reproduction of the character, changed just enough to avoid the phone call from the lawyers. Of course they don't call him the Masterchief either (for the same reasons) but we all know who he is anyway.











As far as I can tell, this product has not been officially announced yet but is in a pre-order status at the wholesale level. I guess it pays to be observant, huh? There is no sign of it on the official Team Xtender website yet, but I found a photo on this site marked "XCM custom case (Sample)", as well as a product description on their wholesale website:





For all shooting game fans, this case for sure is a statement to any opponents. It offers the ultimate look with a complete case that features a LED system to light up the console!



Full replacement case for the Xbox that includes all parts for a complete custom look. It also features a beautiful light system which enlight the whole console as the case is transparent (clear)


This seems to be the same as the clear XCM replacement case for the 360, with the design laser cut into the top and your choice of blue or green led lighting. I also found a handful of awesome large photos:













As this product is still not announced officially (as far as I've seen) there isn't a price set for it yet. I would assume that it will be priced close to the XCM Chameleon case which is usually around $65. All you Halo junkies will just have to be patient, but I expect to see this on the shelves of Team Xtender's retailers soon!





My rating: 5 out of 5 leds. You can't go wrong with leds and the Chief.
